[Nikon FA. Kodak Ektar.]
This is the last frame I made with the Nikon FA, midway through my second roll of film with it, seconds before the camera died in my hands. After this image, the film advance assembly broke, the shutter crapped out and and the mirror box jammed. I could advance film through the camera a few more frames, but then everything locked up.
There was no resistance. No “clunk.” Nothing. Just … no more Technocamera.
DEAD.
